Clive Jones is a freelance illustrator & digital artist based in Lowestoft,
Suffolk (UK). Raised in the seaside town of Southwold he began drawing at an
early age but rather than taking influences from the picturesque
surroundings of his home town he took inspiration from comic books, cartoons
and fantasy art, three things that he still loves to this day.
After a period working as a signwriter and some time at Art College Clive
landed a role as a concept artist/designer for a local games
developer working on several internationally published cross platform
titles. During this time he got more involved in digital art and began
working on texturing, menu systems and 3d graphics, leading to
his next role producing photo realistic Architectural Visualisations
(both still and animated) for clients throughout the UK.
In the last few years Clive has produced character designs, storyboards and concept art for animated kids TV shows, worked as a colorist on comics, designed t-shirts for Evel Knievel, posters for bands, logos for websites and brochures for local companies as well as working on further video game titles.
